How we work with others

We partner. We do not advise from a distance.

The word is in our name because it is how the work is structured. We take on the same numbers our clients carry, and we hold the same standard with the networks we align ourselves to.

The model

Advisors hand over a document. Partners stay for the result.

Most consulting is structured so the risk sits entirely with the client. A senior name wins the work, a junior team delivers it, a document lands, and whether any of it survives contact with the business is somebody else’s problem.

We built IBG the other way around because we have run businesses ourselves. We have hired and fired, raised capital and carried payroll, and we know the value is not in the recommendation. It is in whether the thing holds once the consultant has left the room.

So we work as partners. Senior practitioners do the work rather than sell it. We are accountable to the same numbers our clients are. And nothing leaves the building without an independent second pair of eyes on it, which is the discipline we call Vera checked™.

Ways to partner

Four ways we work alongside other people.

01

Client partnerships

The core engagement. We embed with your team, own a share of the outcome, and stay until the new model carries load on its own.

02

Referral partners

Accountants, brokers, agencies and lawyers who see the problem before we do. You keep the relationship; we take the work you cannot staff.

03

Delivery partners

Specialists we bring onto engagements when a client needs depth we do not hold in-house. The same review standard applies to their work as ours.

04

Network partners

Organisations running their own certified standard for the people inside them. Henosis is the first, covering wellness practitioners.

Network partners

Henosis. A partnership for practitioners.

Henosis is a global certification network and directory for wellness practitioners, spaces and retreats. It is a separate organisation with its own standard, and we partner with it because that standard is earned rather than purchased.

The two organisations solve the same problem at opposite ends of the market. IBG exists because a business cannot tell a capable consultant from a confident one until the invoice has been paid. Henosis exists because a person looking for a practitioner cannot tell, from a category tag or a star rating, what they are actually walking into.

Both answers turned out to be the same answer: a mark that means something because somebody independent assessed the work and put their name to it. Ours is Vera checked™. Theirs is certification against a published standard, and it is never sold.

The partnership runs in both directions. A certified Henosis practitioner building a business gets the commercial side handled by people who have run one. An IBG client operating in wellness, hospitality or retreat gets reach into a network of practitioners whose work has already been assessed.

Inspired Business Group
Commercial capability for the business behind the practice. Sales, marketing, systems, leadership and talent.
Henosis
Certification and directory for practitioners, spaces and retreats, assessed against a published standard.
Together
A practitioner who is genuinely good at the work, running a business that can carry it.
How a partnership starts

Conversation. Fit. Then paperwork.

01

A conversation, not a pitch

A senior practitioner works out what you actually need and whether we are the right people for it. Sometimes we are not, and we say so.

02

Standards check

We look at how you work and how we work. Where a partner carries their own mark or standard, we check it holds before we put our name beside it.

03

Scope and terms

What each side brings, who owns which relationship, how referrals and revenue are handled. Written down before anything starts.

04

Run it and review it

Partnerships get reviewed the way engagements do. If it is not producing for both sides, we change it or we end it cleanly.

Questions

Partnerships, answered.

Do you pay referral commissions?+
We agree referral terms in writing before any introduction is made, and they vary by the kind of partnership. What we do not do is take commission from software vendors or suppliers we recommend to a client, because that would compromise the advice.
Does IBG own or run Henosis?+
No. Henosis is a separate organisation with its own standard, its own assessment process and its own team. We partner with it; we do not control it, and being an IBG client does not shortcut Henosis certification.
Can I get certified by Henosis through you?+
No, and that is rather the point of the mark. Certification is assessed by Henosis against a published standard and cannot be bought or introduced around. Apply directly at henosis.life.
Are you taking on new delivery partners?+
Selectively, where a client need is real and recurring and we do not hold the depth in-house. Delivery partners work to the same review standard we do, which rules a lot of people out.
What does Vera checked™ mean for a partner?+
Anything released under our name gets an independent senior review first, including work delivered by a partner. It is an advisory quality check, not an audit or attestation.
